House as Collectible
When art collector, writer, and gallerist Adam Lindemann set out to build a house he was also determined to put it in the history books. Specifically, it was to be one of architect, David Adjaye's seminal works — and an extraordinary addition to New York residential real estate. To chronicle the architectural achievement, and to cement its place in history, Watson created a book that explores the uptown carriage house from conception to design. The volume reveals the seminal work of Adjaye and the art of a home made for art. Radical indeed.
