W&CO x This Place Drink & Draw Rooftop Series

This summer, Watson & Company collaborated with This Place, a self-described ‘moving event project’ that gathers like-minded individuals for creative pop-ups through-out the city. For the third year in a row, we hosted a series of live figure drawing sessions on our rooftop and added a few crates of rosé to the mix to get the creative juices flowing. After work and just in time for magic hour over Manhattan, the roof was transformed into an open-air studio. Sans instruction, attendees were given complete freedom to explore their practice, meet other creatives, and keep it casual.

    W&CO Presents Rooftop Summer Sessions

We inaugurated our rooftop garden with an extraordinary set by experimental harpist Mary Lattimore upon the release of her critically acclaimed album, ‘Hundreds of Days’. Voluntary donations were collected to benefit Art Start, an organization that supports emerging artistic talent in underserved communities. Guests were treated to libations by event sponsors Stella Artois, Volcan Tequila and Health-Ade Kombucha, and our neighbors at Dimes provided a gorgeous farm-to-table spread.
